Exploring the Ocean-Earth Life Frontier and its Sustainability

Abstract:

This lecture will discuss the history of challenges and discoveries at the frontiers of oceanic and terrestrial life and their scientific significance. In addition, I will discuss the reality and potential risks of ongoing global system changes, such as ocean acidification and biodiversity loss due to global warming, and how we can achieve sustainability in the future.
