Prof. Xavier Bressaud, Counselor for Science and Technology at the French Embassy in Japan, and Colleagues Visited WPI-AIMEC

On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, a delegation from the French Embassy in Japan, including Prof. Xavier Bressaud, Counselor for Science and Technology, Dr. Adeline Lassaux, Attaché for Science and Technology, and Dr. Jean-Baptiste Bordes, Attaché for Science and Technology, visited Tohoku University to tour its research facilities. During their visit to WPI-AIMEC Director, Prof. Toshio Suga (Graduate School of Science, Tohoku University) gave a presentation on the mission, and vision of WPI-AIMEC, followed by an exchange of views with WPI-AIMEC Division Director of Research Promotion and Planning, Kentaro Ando (Principal Researcher, JAMSTEC), and the visiting delegation. They also discussed the potential for future student exchanges in marine science between Japan and France.
