WPI-AIMEC exhibited at the AGU 2025 Annual Meeting

WPI‑AIMEC exhibited at the AGU 2025 Annual Meeting in New Orleans from 15-18 December 2025, with Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), the International Institute for Carbon-Neutral Energy Research (WPI-I²CNER), Kyushu University, and the Earth-Life Science Institute (WPI-ELSI), Institute of Science Tokyo.

The shared booth introduced cutting-edge research across the WPI centers, promoted international collaboration and provided information on JSPS funding and study opportunities. It attracted many researchers, students, and teachers, sparking conversations about the future of the ocean. Visitors were especially interested in how to begin conducting research in Japan, the support available through WPI centers, and what everyday life is like for international researchers.

Visitors stopped by in large numbers where they could know more about WPI-AIMEC and the WPI program. Through exhibits like this, WPI-AIMEC will continue to share its research and build connections with the global marine science community.
