CLIVAR Pacific Regional Panel Workshop Organized by AIMEC Members 

CLIVAR Pacific Regional Panel workshop was organized by Prof. Sayaka Yasunaka, Unit Leader of WPI-AIMEC (Graduate School of Science, Tohoku University), at the University of Tokyo, Hongo Campus, Japan, on Thursday 21 May and Friday 22 May 2026.

This workshop was held to discuss explainers for the Tropical Pacific Observing System, as well as to discuss and draft a review paper on the global climate impacts of tropical Pacific variability and marine biogeochemical cycles in the tropical Pacific. 31 researchers from many countries participated.
