WPI‑AIMEC is pleased to support an event created and led by the second‑year students of Sendai Third High School. Their “Learn and Understand about the Ocean Talk Session: Considering Marine Environmental Issues Through Dialogue” invites people of all ages and backgrounds to come together and think about the future of our ocean.
High school students, university students, citizens and researchers will gather in one space to exchange perspectives on ocean environmental challenges. Through open conversation, participants will reflect on what different groups can contribute, “what adults can do”, “what high school students can do”, and “what experts can do”.
WPI‑AIMEC members will join the conversation, exchanging views, listening, and learning. The session creates an opportunity for people who might never normally meet to sit at the same table, share ideas, and spark new ways of understanding the ocean’s role in our lives.
Please join us! More information can be found on the event poster.
